Random Thoughts
- Those OnSt*r commercials where they play audio from real emergencies? Evil. I hate them. They make me cry. I think it is heartless to put other people's pain on the radio to make money.
- Banana bread without nuts is pointless.
- I think I am getting some energy back....

Those commercials are even worse when it's, like, "Oh, I locked my keys in the car." It's those people who I'm shocked actually agree to allow that tape to be used in an ad.
Banana bread without nuts? MMM, sign me up...I'll eat it with nuts, but they jsut get in the way for me.

Speaking of banana bread, have you tried the pumpkin spice cream cheese muffin from Starbucks???

Too funny! The reason I was thinking about banana bread is that last night I baked for a volunteer breakfast we had this morning. I made banana bread but was too lazy to put in nuts, but I also made carrot/raisin/bran muffins with cream cheese frosting!
They are partially inspired by my old fav at SB: the Morning Glory muffin, which had a glob of cream cheese baked into the middle. Yum!
I haven't seen a pumpkin muffin at SB but I don't go in much anymore. I spend my coffee money on ice cream these days!

I had banana bread for breakfast!
But the nuts ruin it. It needs chocolate chips!!

Well, several people today at the breakfast really LIKED that the bread did not have nuts so I guess I have learned that I should make BOTH KINDS. Nuts for me, plain for everyone else! :)
It took *2* tries to get through Word Stupefication...

1) I am a fan of banana bread with or without nuts, but brownies should not have nuts... LOL
2) I do not like the onStar commercials - they are upsetting and I have started tearing up when they come on...
3) glad to hear you are feeling more energy!!!

I'm going to really make a statement here. Other than CREAMY PEANUT BUTTER there should be NOTHING with nuts. NOTHING!
Seriously, I can't eat them. It's a texture thing mostly. They crunch...but they're oily...and they squeak against my teeth when I bite into them. Creeps me out. And then there's the taste factor -- like eating a stick. I am no beaver and do *not* like that wood flavor ;)

Hah - we're not the only ones who don't like OnSt*r ads (sorry, Rachel)! I heard a really good parody of one on the radio tonight - it had me going for a second and I thought, oh no, now there are competitors doing the same thing... and then the spoof became apparent (it was an ad for a technology procurement company, I think).
