Our midwife decided we should come to the birthing center to determine if it actually was amniotic fluid. The swab turned blue and there was ferning on the slide, so yup, Jen's water broke. We left with castor oil and instructions on how to use it, but Jen is having contractions (somewhat irregular, but contractions nonetheless) so we're hoping not to.
We're going to try to take a nap now.

Oh hooray!!! Sounds like my first pregnancy, my water broke and contractions didn't get going for another 12 hours... Also ask about blue/black cohosh tinctures, worked for me! :)
