Rollin' On

Several people have told us (as if we should be relieved to know this) that Natalie will lose some of her chub now that she's more mobile. To them I say (in the words of my daughter), "Pbttttttttttt!"

But, because I know that some day, far sooner than I'd like to think, I'll wake up to discover the fabulously edible, wonderfully squishy rolls replaced by a big kid body that doesn't stay still, I present to you my Tribute to the Chub:

The Rolls

  • Charles is envious because he has never had such an abundance.

  • Beautiful! Seriously, babydom is the only time in life when it's perfectly acceptable to be fat, cranky, and perpetually naked.

  • Yeah, that's going to be gone before you know it.

And you are going to miss yourself the chubb!

(But lean five-year old energy-filled bodies are pretty darn amazing, too.)
