Oh, I know, too true. But sometimes I can't help myself.
And sometimes I just want to know so I can plan my TV watching effectively...if I KNOW who wins, I can flip back and forth to 'Dancing With the Stars' and not worry so much about missing the good stuff on NBC.
The Minneapolis newspaper is my homepage, and yesterday I was accidentally spoiled just because I made the mistake of opening my browser! I changed my homepage and plan to leave it changed until the Olympics ends. Of course, last night's figure skating was the biggie for me, so it's kind of pointless.
Hopefully I'll remember this at the next summer Olympics, since I actually like more than one summer event.
Omigosh, it happened to me too last night! I was so angry that I was about to cancel my AOL account! There I was just minding my own business, checking my e-mail after dinner. I go to the AOL homepage to sign in and what's waiting for me--a huge picture of Miss Sasha falling!!! GRRRRRRRRR! I will definitely stay away next time.
We have both known for as long as we can remember that we wanted to have kids. We decided to start down the road to parenthood about three years ago, beginning with research. In May of 2004 we began inseminating, and in July, we hit the jackpot. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a partial molar pregnancy, and we endured a miscarriage, followed by months of medical treatment, monitoring, and frustration. We began trying to conceive again in May 2005 (against our doctor's advice). We were lucky to get pregnant again in July. Despite our fears and worries, this pregnancy went smoothly and ended with a wonderful home birth and a beautiful baby girl. A new chapter begins....

My problem is that my homepage on my home computer is Google News. I guess I should change it for the duration of the Olympics....
