WHAT Paperless Society?!?
Of course, it's the taxes and the medical bills that threaten to drown us at the moment. Between the endless miscarriage and the Lyme disease, our medical bills from last year are many and complex... and wouldn't you know, our insurance company is making a right mess of it all. (I'm sure you're shocked.) Since we have a confluence of deadlines looming (insurance claims due March 31, taxes due April 15, and Harpo due any time s/he chooses to make an appearance in the next month to six weeks...) we're really trying to dig out from under the mountain of paper. Unfortunately, this means the posts may be sparse for the next week or so. But if you're desperate to read something, I'm sure we can send you a carton or two of lovely reading material. Just say the word!

Well I hope taht you can wage the war against the paper and make some headway this week. woul;dn't it be nice if they could just send you one statement from each doctors office stating what you paid them and what your insurance paid them, it would make things a lot damn easier when it came time to file taxes. When E had her breast reduction, with all it's complications, I thought that I was going to drown in all the paper work. Just hang in there, eventually there will be a light at the end of the tunnel, and hopefully a big fat refund to go with it.

Hang in! And you can always file for an extension from the IRS - you can even do it online through one of the e-file sites... not that you *want* to but you know, you can gain a little ground and have six extra months!!!
